Why do we process your personal data?

Managing your inquiry.
Sending information, electronically or otherwise, related to your inquiry and the notary’s services.
Providing customer service, resolving doubts, handling complaints, or receiving suggestions.

We remind you that the processing of data for these purposes is necessary to satisfy the legitimate interests pursued by the Notary.

As part of the purposes outlined above, and always within the scope of the consent given, the Notary will process the following categories of data:

Identification and contact details, including but not limited to name, surname, phone number, and email address.

How long will we keep your data?

Your data will be retained as long as necessary for the provision of services or, where applicable, for the duration of the relationship between the parties. In any case, data will be kept until you request its deletion and for the period required to comply with legal obligations related to each type of data.

What is the legal basis for processing your data?

The processing of personal data related to the maintenance of your relationship with the Notary is necessary to fulfill contractual obligations derived from this relationship. The processing of your personal data for these purposes is strictly necessary to comply with these legal obligations.

Who will receive your data?

As a general rule, no data will be transferred to third parties except where legally required.

However, your data may be shared with the following recipients for the reasons explained below, and only when necessary for the purposes related to the relationship between the parties:

Public Administrations, to comply with legal obligations.
Service providers who require access to your data to provide services contracted by the Notary, under confidentiality and data processing agreements required by law to protect your privacy.

The Notary does not conduct international data transfers.

However, during the processing of user data, we may use software whose servers are located outside the European Economic Area, particularly in countries that provide an adequate level of protection or in the United States. In such cases, we ensure that we work with providers that comply with European data protection standards and regulations, specifically the GDPR (EU Regulation 679/2016). 7. Rights

What are your rights regarding your data?

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we are processing personal data concerning you.

Additionally, you have the right to:

Access your personal data.
Rectify inaccurate data or request its deletion when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Request restriction of processing, in which case we will only retain your data for legal claims.
Object to the processing of your data for reasons related to your particular situation.
Exercise the right to data portability and withdraw previously given consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.

You can exercise these rights by sending a written request via email to web@unidata.es, attaching a copy of your ID or another document proving your identity and clearly indicating the right you wish to exercise.

Lastly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or other competent public authorities regarding any issues arising from the processing of your personal data.
